Vacuum Chamber Testing
Final Frontier Design’s vacuum chamber glove box is an essential tool for developing and testing glove prototypes. By controlling the removal of air within the chamber, a pressure differential is created between the internal volume and ambient air. This enables us to simulate what’s known as a ‘space analog environment,” which NASA explains is “designed to solve the unique challenges of living and working in extreme environments.” Gloves can be mounted as singles or in pairs for use in various types of pressurized comparison testing.
For anyone visiting FFD studios, we invite you to try out our latest prototype gloves and help contribute actual data in our live testing environment. For more information please contact us via our inquiries page.
