-NASA Space Act Agreement from 2015 supports development and implementation of a NASA-sanctioned Human Rating program, per their directive NPR 8705.2C
- FFD was awarded a competitive Space Act Agreement in 2015 to develop and implement a human rating program for our IVA space suit. The agreement allows NASA engineers to review and advise FFD's approach to human rating, and also supports relevant testing within NASA.
-The agreement is through NASA's Collaborations in Commercial Space Capabilities office; other awardees include SpaceX, United Launch Alliance, and ATK.

- Our first contract with NASA was in 2011.
- This Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract was for development of a knuckle joint in the glove and saw nearly a dozen iterations of our glove patterning, processes, and materials.
- In 2009, Nik Moiseev and Ted Southern as the team "Final Frontier Design" won second place in NASA's Astronaut Glove Competition by outperforming NASA's current Phase VI gloves under pressure in a variety of tests.
- In addition to a $100,000 prize, Nik and Ted were introduced to NASA space suit engineers and went on to form the company FFD.
